  • Question: 1. Does the modification of a threshold building going through a repair or restoration require a Threshold Inspector per section 110.8.1.

    2. If a threshold building is going through a repair or restoration, is it considered being modified per section 110.8.1 and require a threshold inspector?

    3. Can a threshold building going through a repair or restoration not be considered modified and not require the project to have a threshold inspector per section 110.8.1?

Any alteration of any component of the structural systems of a Threshold Building whether floor, roof, walls or other requires inspection by a Special Inspector of Threshold Buildings. You may also refer to the Declaratory (Dec) Statement number 2014-061.
