READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU PROCEED!

  1. Complete the name and email address fields.
  2. Indicate the Code Section and Florida Building Code Referenced.Only requests for interpretations of the Florida Building Code will be accepted. The question should only be about one section of the code.
  3. Enter your question.The question should be in a form that can be answered with a 'YES' or 'NO'. For example:

    "Is it the intent of Section 1606.1.1, exception 3 to not allow the construction of a 20 foot by 30 foot building that is accessory to a single family residence, using SSTD 10?
  4. In the comment field, you may want to explain in more detail the reason for your request. For example:

    "The applicant states that this building will be used for his wife making crafts to sell at the flea market."
