Question: If windows are removed, and the rough opening interior and exterior are sealed with an ICC-ES approved modified silicone (STP) fluid-applied flashing, and the windows are re-installed using a sealant to seal the rear edge of the window frame to the sealed rough opening as described in 2021 IRC R703.4, would the provisions of FBCEB Sections 702.4, 702.5, or 707.4 be applicable?
