Question: If windows are removed, and the rough opening interior and exterior is sealed with an ICC-ES approved modified silicone (STP) fluid-applied flashing, and the windows are re-installed using a sealant to seal the rear edge of the window frame to the sealed rough opening pursuant to the 2021 FBC R703.4, would the provisions of Sections 702.4, 702.5, or 707.4 be applicable?
