Yes.
FBC, Building 107.2.1 Sentence three states “Construction documents shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate the location, nature, and extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of this code and relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, as determined by the building official.

FBC, Building 107.3.5 Minimum plan review criteria for buildings. The examination of the documents by the building official shall include the following minimum criteria and documents:

FBC Residential Sections 314 and 315 respectively address smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms.
FBC Residential E3401.1 Applicability. Electrical systems, equipment and components for buildings under the scope of this Code shall comply with the applicable provisions of NFPA 70, National Electrical Code. (NEC)

NEC 110.1 Scope. This article covers general requirements for the examination and approval, installation and use, access to, and spaces about electrical conductors and equipment; enclosures intended for personnel entry; and tunnel installations.
NEC 110.2 Approval. The conductors and equipment required or permitted by this Code shall be acceptable only if approved.

Commentary:

FBC 107.2.1 allows the building official to determine what detail is required on a set of plans to clearly indicate the location, nature and extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of the governing codes and standards.
