Question
Is the function of space for design occupant load of a kennel most accurately categorized as an Agricultural Building @ an Occupant Load Factor of 300 gross?

This is a question that is best answered by discussions with the Building Official/Fire Official and plan reviewer. Depending upon the design, layout and size of the kennels, it may be best as a Business occupant load of 150. If the kennels are large, consist of runs or have other portions that take up a lot of space, the 300 number may be appropriate. It is suggested you contact the Building Department and have the discussion.
