Florida Statute 489.103 contains exemptions to the requirements for contractor licensing. Parenthesis 3 addresses governmental entities, school boards and universities. There is a dollar limit contained in the exemption of $200,000 along with a requirement that the exemption only applies to existing facilities. The question is if the dollar limit applies to all of the entities listed in the exemption or if the dollar limit only applies to school boards and universities.
