Question
Is it the intent of section 107.3.5 Minimum plan review requirements, Residential to not require plumbing, gas, mechanical, and electrical plans to be submitted to the AHJ for review as these items are not listed in this section of the Code.

The items are not required by the code, but the loacal
jurisdiction may require additional documentation per
107.2.1 and 107.1

Commentary
The intent is to set minimum standards for review, however
as stated above FBC 107.2.1 allows the building official to
require what they deem is necessary to ensure code
compliance.
