Question

Is it the intent of 606.4 replacement of windows and doors in a multifamily project then require that all windows be replaced or provide protection since the exception leads you to believe that one and two family dwellings are exempt?

1 & 2 family dwellings are exempt. A multi family building
is not.

Commentary

If one unit in a condominium (multi-family building) is replacing the windows, that unit has to comply; not the entire building.
