Is it the intent of 406.1.2 to allow the construction of a detached private garage single story building with less than 3,000 s.f. that will be of an accessory character to an R-2 occupancy. Comment: The project consists of twelve separate buildings of an accessory character to two existing condominium towers that will be built to replace previous carports that were destroyed by the hurricanes. Each of them is less than 3,000 s.f. and separated by 10' minimum.

Yes, as long as all the provisions of 406.1.2 are met.
