Question: Is it the intent of the FBC and F.S. 515 that double doors (french doors) leading out to a pool area be required to have an alarm only on one door. Reasoning; Normally one door is the passage door the other stays in the fixed locked position with a sliding door latch at the top and bottom. Can this door be considered part of a barrior because it has a latch way over 54 inches high locking it in place.
