In a building requiring two or more exits, does the requirement for emergency illumination of exterior landings per Section 1008.3.2(5) apply to every exterior door, or only to those doors specifically designated as "Required Means of Egress" on the approved Life Safety Plan?
Furthermore, if a supplemental convenience door is not required for occupant load or travel distance, and is clearly marked with a "NOT AN EXIT" sign, is that door exempt from the emergency landing illumination requirements?

Yes, This section only applies to exit doors.1008.3.2(5) Exterior landings as required by Section 1010.1.5 for exit doorways that lead directly to the exit discharge. A supplemental convenience door should not be considered an exit door.
