Question
Is it the intention of the exception that the 4' of distance for fire-retardent-treated wood sheathing be measured from the centerline of the common 2-hour fire resistance-rated wall assembly? Or, specifically in the case of a rated wall assembly with two walls, that the 4' of distance be measured from the face of the each wall in the assembly?
