Question
Is it the intent of the NEC (2017) 760.135 and NEC 760.154 to require that the power limited circuit of a fire alarm system only use the cables listed under 760.135 or the substitutions allowed under Table 760.154(A)?

Cables need to listed to the UL category (CCN) HNIR for use in power limited fire alarm circuits. Fixture wire is not tested to the same standards.
