Question
Is it the intent of section M1507.4 and subsequently, Table M1507.4 to require that Bathrooms-Toilet Rooms in detached one- and two-family dwellings and townhouse always be provided with an exhaust fan, even if the bathroom has an operable window?

Bathrooms in detached one-and-two family and townhome dwellings are not required to have local exhaust system as long as an aggregate glazing area of windows, no less than 3 squire feet, with one-half of such area being openable is provided. Section M1507.4 is simply the minimum design requirement if the local exhaust must be provided.
