Question

Based on exception 2 of 310.1 of the Residential Code, are adding removable acrylic windbreakers allowed to be installed on all openings, except the door (remains open to the atmosphere by screening), of an existing screen enclosure where the required Emergency Escape and Rescue Opening opens into that screen enclosure?

The definition of screen enclosure includes the use of wind breaks, yes this would be permitted.
