Question
Is it the intent of Section 461.1to eliminate the use NFPA 13R fire protection systems in transient lodging facilities even when the building meets the listed criteria of Chapter 5 that would qualify it to be designed with such a system? Conversely can an NFPA 13R system be used in a transient lodging facility with interior corridors but meets all applicable criteria of Chapter 5 of the F.B.C. 2014 addition?
