Yes, this section applies to all exterior windows and doors,
regardless of the material used to construct them.

Commentary
Some door assemblies are manufactured by different companies
and as such there is not a single manufacturer to issue a
label. These situations are usually handled via a Florida
Approval or an NOA that lays out the requirements.
Organizations such as WDMA and AAMA provide individual
pieces and parts such as hinges, handles, operators and so
on that are individually listed and may be put together to
fit a specific need. In this case, much like a fire rating
assembly, a product approval, NOA or other acceptable
engineering document needs to be presented for acceptance.
