Question
Is it the intent of the removal of the reference to the Alteration Level 1 Reroofing Section (FBC 2014 Section 708) within section 606.2 (when compared to FBC 2010 Repair Section 506.2), to remove the 25% threshold requirement for full roof replacement if we are performing a repair? For instance, if the work classification per Chp 5 is a Repair, can we repair 40% of the roof without referring to Section 708 and/or FBC Building Chapter 15?
