Question

Is it the intent of Chapter 1208.4 of the Florida Building Code for it to apply to hotel rooms of existing Florida hotels? It seems to me that Chapter 1208.4 (reproduced in the Comments section below) should not apply to hotel rooms because 1208.4 states that "The unit shall be provided with a kitchen sink, cooking appliance and refrigeration facilities" YET many Florida hotel rooms do not provide a kitchen sink, cooking appliance, or refrigeration facilities. No, for existing structures you would need to go to the
Florida Building Code Existing Buildings volume.
