Question

Is it the intent of Section 505.2.2 of the 2010 FBC-Energy Conservation to require automatic lighting control devices for an interior remodel of an an existing tenant space less than 5,000 sq ft?

Commentary

If the alteration is a Level 2 Alteration, Per the Existing Building Code, Section 711.1, compliance with the Energy Code for all new Work is mandated.
