Question
Is it the intent of section 502 that one broken panel of an existing two panel sliding glass door in a hazardous location can be replaced without requiring the unbroken panel to be replaced with tempered glass?

If, when the original sliding glass door was installed,
tempered glass was not required by the building code then
the unbroken panel can remain as is.
