Question
Is it the intent of ASME A17.1 to allow the elevator hoistway in a 3-story single family home, with a garage on the first level, to be conditioned by ductwork which is connected to either the house air system(s) or a dedicated system?

This is a question for the ASME, there is a interpretation
process for ASME to interpret their documents.
