Question
The following questions pertain to single family residential homes. 1. Is it the intent of the G 2403(202) Definitions be an enforceable section of the code? 2. Is it the intent of the Residential Code to require a service shutoff valve at the outlet of the serving gas suppliers meter or regulator (customer owned piping) in addition to the service shutoff valve installed at the supply inlet by the serving gas supplier (i.e. the shutoff located at the meter or regulator)?
