Question

Is it the intent according to the 2010 Florida Building Code �Mechanical and Energy Conservation Codes� that when a factory built Wood Burning Fireplace is to be installed into a one and two family residence that the factory built Wood Burning Fireplace meets the requirements of the Florida Mechanical Code Section 903, being listed and labeled in accordance with UL 127 and the Florida Conservation Code Section 402.4.2 that requires new wood- burning fireplaces to have gasketed doors and outdoor combustion air? Are both Code Sections required to be met?
