Question
Is it the intent of of this section to not allow condensate drain piping, including condensate pumps, in an elevator machine room that is removing condensate from an air conditioning unit located in the machine room that serves only the machine room?

No, a condensate would not be a plumbing system as defined
by the FBC-Plumbing. Therefore, condensate piping and
related pumps for equipment serving only the elevator
equipment room would be allowed.
