Commentary
The building would be exempt from the requirements of the
section cited, however, other portions of the code may
require. Note the section stated in this question is
directly related to the requirement for an ambulatory
stretcher and this response does not apply to any other
requirement for vertical accessibility. An ambulatory
stretcher elevator is not required for the case cited.
