Is it the intent of 2010 Florida Building Code - Energy Conservation section 101.4.7.1.1 exception 3 to allow tests like blower door and repairs with other than fabric and mastic as allowed by the duct construction section 603 of the commercial code and section M1601.4 of the Residential code?

with any approved closure method as

Commentary
The residential energy
code refers to the commercial section
for closure methods to prevent
duplication of information since both
residential and commercial have the
same sealing requirements.
