Question
Is it the intent of this code code not to allow for Risk Caterory 1 wind maps to be used on all buildings that fall under the provisions of the Residential Code

It appears that the construction regulated by the
FBCR will probably be the most likely to see Risk Category
I structures. R301.1.1 and R301,1.2 provides a code trail
to Section 1604.5 and Table 1604.5 of the FBCB for such
structures
