Is it the intent of section 102.8 of the 2010 Florida Building Code to require an equal change out of a roof top mechanical unit to comply with section 1509.7?

Yes. When the A/C unit is replaced, the clearances
in Table 1509.7 are required. Minimum clearances
for roof curbs is also required for those installations.
