Question
Is it the intent of section 423.5.16 Seperate Buildings to require many smaller buildings under one roof and not seperated by 60 feet or rated walls to be sprinkled as if one building.

Since the buildings are being considered one building per
503.1.2, yes, if the total fire area exceeds those
permitted in Chapter 9 for the occupancy.
