Question
Is it the intent of of section 106.3 to allow a Building Official not certified pursuant to FS633.081(Firesafety inspector) to do the required (per FS 553.79(2)) Firesafety plan review before issuing a permit.

No. For firesafety plans designed in accordance with the
Florida Fire Prevention Code, review is required to be
conducted by a fire safety inspector certified in
accordance with 633.081.
