Question
Is it the intent of section 1006.2.3.2, specifically the statement "...opening of a circuit breaker or fuse or any manual act(s)..." to be applied to all circuit breakers or fuses that serve emergency lighting circuits or is the intent that this statement only applies to those circuit breakers or fuses that serve normal (non- emergency) lighting circuits.

It is not the intent of these sections to require battery
backup on everything. The last word of section 1006.2.3.2
is "facilities". This means the lighting system, not the
individual branch circuits.
