Yes. This section is separate and distinct from section 6
which addresses smoke control system panels.

Commentary
Note: This language is also contained in the FFPC NFPA 1
section 11.9.5. The design professional should consult with
the local Building Official and Fire Official regarding the
need for override control of each separate HVAC system. The
local Fire and Building Official, in consultation with the
design professional, may determine that the need for this
level of control for all air handling systems is not
appropriate based on the hazard and system design.
