Question
Is it the intent (of this code section) that you can't put an aluminum roof over the sreen room if the screen room cover an egress window OR SLIDING GLASS DOOR because of the smoke (accumulation in the event of a fire). HERNANDO COUNTY IS INTERPRETATING (IT) JUST THAT WAY, BUT THE WAY I INTERPRET IT IS THAT THE SCREEN WALLS LET'S THE SMOKE OUT INTO (THE) ATMOSPHERE. AS YOU WELL KNOW WORK IS HARD TO GET AND IF THIS IS THE CASE THERE WILL BE SCREEN ROOMS AND ALUMINUM ROOFS GOING UP WITOUT PREMITS IF WE CAN'T DO IT UNLICENSED CONTRACTOR WILL DO IT .
