Question
Is it the intent of "R320.1.6 (If soil treatment is used for subterranean termite prevention, chemical soil treatments shall also be applied under all exterior concrete or grade within 1 foot (305 mm) of the primary structure sidewalls.) to have entire concrete area treated, where slab is within 1 foot of structure sidewalls, or just the first 1 foot off sidewall treated?

Treatment is only required for a distance one foot outside
of the building footprint or walls.

Any construction or slab that encroaches within this 1-foot
perimeter of the building is to have the soil under it
treated just like the building.
