Are there minimum energy efficiency requirements for heat pump chillers (units that produce chilled water in summer, and reverse cycle to produce hot water in winter)?

If the equipment is a water chiller, Table
13-407.ABC.3.2.1C applies. The Code is silent on the
efficiency in heating mode, so the selection and
demonstration of compliance should be based on the cooling
mode efficiency.
