Question

Is it the intent of the FBC to define the 'a' edge zone described in the asce 7 document, chapter 6, which is a part of the FBC as referenced, as starting at the vertical wall line and continuing up the roof the calculated width of the 'a' zone, regardless of the width or length of an overhang extending away from the same wall line?
