Question
Is it the intent of section 419.1 to prohibit the use of waterless urinals since the ASME approval listed for the urinal is ASME A112.19.19 and not ASME A112.19.2M

The answer to the question is, "NO."
The Code states that Urinals shall conform to ANSI Z124.9,
ASME A112.19.2M, CSA B45.1 or CSA B45.5.
Some waterless urinals do conform to ANSI Z124.9 and would
therefore be acceptable.
