Interpretation #6629

Is the intent of 707 (7) to permit in an elevated train station an outboard elevator shaft that connects no more than two stories to have glass material on one face of the enclosure, when the second story is at an elevation of 50 feet above grade. The construction meets all the other requirement of 707 (7.1 through 7.7).
