Question
Is it the intent of Table 2903.2b note "d" to require the primary backflow device at the meter to be the same size as the water service piping run to the dwelling.

Yes, it is the intent of the footnote that the backflow
assembly must be the same size as the water service. Meter
size is not regulated by the code and may be smaller that
the code required water service size.
