Question
Is it the intent of Florida Building Code - Building Section 1911 to require post-installed anchors to be designed per the requirements of ACI 318, Appendix D and to also have a current product approval?

Commentary
If the manufacturer's published literature is based on ACI
318 Appendix D. Comment: There are two acceptable methods
for product approval in HVHZ. One, Miami-Dade County NOA
for HVHZ, and the other one optional state approval for
specific use in HVHZ.
