  • Question: In Table R803.1 Clearly states that minimum Roof sheathing thickness to be 5/8". However, in exact same section Table R803.2.2 minimum roof sheathing is based on Wind speed and exposure from 7/16" to 23/32". Which is supposed to take precedence?

Table R803.2.2 is specific to use of wood structural panel sheathing. See definition -wood elements that are bonded together with exterior adhesives (examples LSL, LVL, OSL, and PSL)
There is no conflict and no need for one to take precedence as Table 803.1 is for lumber and 803.2.2 is for structural panels so they each apply according to which product you wish to use
