Question:
Is it the intent of the code to allow two swinging vehicle access gates to not have to meet the same requirements as pedestrian gates?
Comments:
With no other barrier inside the fence, the two swing gates do not have the ability to self- latch when in the closed position. They can be made to self- close but unable to meet the latching requirements of the code.
