Question:
Is it the intent of Section [A]110.3 to make sheathing inspection optional, or allow other than a licensed building inspector to perform the task?
Comments:
A municipality states that the roof sheathing inspection is “optional” and whether inspection is actually performed by the municipality or not, an affidavit can be submitted at any time, even after final inspection, by the contractor.
