Question:
Is it the intent of section 1010.1.1 to allow the use of 6'8" doors in commercial buildings?
Comments:
The door stop at the header usually reduces the opening by 3/8", and the flooring material may be up to 1/2" in height. This could reduce the "clear opening" down to 79 & 1/8".
